Lets Create A Beer Blog Community !!!

Hey everyone, so its 2013 and today I have taken inspiration from my girlfriends blog post, I thought it would be a great idea to try and get you all involved a little more in the blog, but more importantly to introduce a way for you all to share your blogs and get a community going. So in order to do this all you need to do is follow the instructions below, its very simple:

1) Click on the Button ("Add Your Link")
2) Add in your Blogs Details
3) Then Click on OK

Once you have filled in the details required, it will add your blog onto the post, allowing other people to come along and click on your blog and check it out. You can also become a follower of the Genuine Beer Blog by clicking the Button on the right hand sidebar.

It would be really good if we could get as many Beer Bloggers or any bloggers that would like to be apart of this on here adding their blogs and then if we get a good showing I will integrate these onto the blog permanently. I think this would be a great way to get a community going, but also to keep up to date with each others blogs.

It's Arriving........ Friday Favourites !!!!

Hey everyone so today's post is about a new weekly feature that will be coming to the Genuine Beer Blog, The Friday Favourites. 

This is a new weekly feature that will be running on the blog that will highlight the best aspects of certain areas each week. There will be a variety of different features each week including,

• Beer of the Week
• My blog choice of the week
• Readers Blog of the week

As well as others. This is my way of getting all of my readers of the Genuine Beer Blog involved in the blog and helping to highlight other great blogs that are out there and also other great beers that are available to us all.

So to kick off the Friday Favourites this week I will be looking at my beer of the week. This will give all the details of the beer, as well as the reasons I have picked it as my beer of the week and some other general information on the beer itself.

I would then like to look at doing Readers Blog of the Week, now in order for me to do this I need all of your Blog suggestions and reasons for the nominations. Once I have a fair few I will go through them all and pick one that stands out for me and will do a feature on that blog. I feel this would be a good opportunity to give your favourite blog some publicity. A Nomination Sheet follows below.

There are also a couple of other new aspects of the Genuine Beer Blog that I thought I would inform you all of. There is now a feedback button on the navi bar above. This will take you to a page that will allow you to do two things:

• Beer Suggestions
• General Feedback on the Genuine Beer Blog

From here you can suggest beers that you would like to suggest for review, or just to suggest your favourite beers that you think everyone should know about. This would be a huge help to me if you all get involved and suggest some great beers.

The second part is an opportunity to give general feedback on the Genuine Beer Blog itself. This would be really helpful for me to see areas that I can improve on or nice to hear things were doing right.

Finally I have recently written an article for The Drinks Business website, this is a great resource for all the latest news in relation to the drinks business, very good website. Here is a link to the article that I wrote. There will be more to follow.
